--He's disappointed but he's proud of his guys. The resolve was good but disappointed where they couldn't close out a game up five with about five or six minutes to go. Felipe Haase was short to a closeout on Tevin Mack and that was a big swing.

Said it was a "complete miscommunication" on a switch.

--No real update on Lawson. Martin said the freshman is going through X-rays right now to see how bad the injury is. He did say the team missed its "closer" down the stretch because usually Lawson has the ball in his hands in big moments.

--Alanzo Frink rolled his ankle in practice and couldn't give it too much of a go Tuesday. If Lawson can't play, Martin admitted he has to get both walk-ons ready to play on the road.

--Martin was asked about Alabama, and said the teams are really good and they're a good team. They tried hard, too, and the effort the team has is one of the reasons why they have tournament hopes this late in the year.

--Despite the team's rough shooting performance in the first half, Martin was very encouraged at the half. He told the team at halftime their determination was keeping them in it, and told the team if they hit shots, they had a chance to win.

--He wasn't happy with how Tre Campbell defended on the perimeter late in the game. He didn't handle switches on guards as well as he should.

--Asked about the NCAA Tournament, Martin said it does him no good to really think about who's in and out right now. Mentions it's useless for anyone to talk about that until conference tournaments are over. Does say there are a lot of good opportunities for his team on the road at A&M and Missouri and in the conference tournament to pick up good wins.
