Why does Martin stay with a man defense when we continue getting burned. It seems we make more stops when we play zone. I am no coach but this has been driving me crazy. I have noticed this since the Auburn game.

Good question. As a coach, I’ve always felt like great teams would burn a zone. However shooting has gotten worse over the years. I feel like we’re at our best when we change defenses every so often from man to half court trap to zone.
There have been some games where the zone worked pretty well but we waited too late to implement it. The Auburn game comes to mind.
