She got three of her own rebounds last week on one play under the basket.Yeah, I think she was ready get off the court and let her teammates play.

Yes but I don't think that was intentional, she got caught under the goal and the outstretched arms of Tamari Key. What she did yesterday was Moses Malone like and she got the foul. She got three of her own rebounds last week on one play under the basket.
Yep — she was definitely surrounded by long Tennessee arms and bodies. She won that battle.Yes but I don't think that was intentional, she got caught under the goal and the outstretched arms of Tamari Key. What she did yesterday was Moses Malone like and she got the foul.
From looking at the standing it looks like South Carolina will play the winner between Arkansas/Missouri matchup. This is just a guess. Anyway, I wish the game was in the evening instead of noon.I hope SC plays Mizzou in the SEC tourney. Revenge is a great motivator.
Projected for now but I highly doubt UConn doesn't end up in Bridgeport.Did I read somewhere that UConn would be in the Greensboro Regional with SC?
I think it was last night that the final top 16 was listed. What I calculated for the Greensboro isProjected for now but I highly doubt UConn doesn't end up in Bridgeport.
That would be a very favorable top four in our region...Oklahoma is way undersized. They would have 0 answers for Boston and Cordoso on the court at the same time...frankly Boston with four guards would probably be overwhelming to them. We've already faced Maryland and won. IMO a rematch would be the hardest challenge of the listed teams but I think it would end in a similar outcome. Michigan is like a mini version of us. They have similar pieces but we have more depth, size and athleticism. Naz Hillmon would get her points but I think we would shut down everyone else in a low scoring game.I think it was last night that the final top 16 was listed. What I calculated for the Greensboro is

That wasn't the "final top 16.: that will be done on selection day - after the conference tournaments play out.I think it was last night that the final top 16 was listed. What I calculated for the Greensboro is

Maryland was still a very rough game for us I think they've gotten better. They are imo one of the sleeper teams for the final four. Total agree on Michigan, they live and die on Naz Hilmon whose a monster but I think our post play can handle her. That would be a very favorable top four in our region...Oklahoma is way undersized. Probably true but I’m not an insider, why is she so important to beating UConn?I absolutely don't want Coach Law leaving the program. She leveled up the program and want to keep it going. I think Law leaving would be devastating in our effort to continue challenge UConn.
Recruiting classes. It's no surprise that our recruiting has went up to elite status and Tennessee has faltered since she joined the staff. Geno is still bringing in top talent consistently and if there's a noticeable difference in talent we will likely be less competitive than them, like when our series first started. We can probably still do well without her but we're basically almost guaranteed to be always in the national championship conversation with both Law and Dawn together.Probably true but I’m not an insider, why is she so important to beating UConn?
Law has been a head coach. She had a stent with the Globetrotters. SC is home. Family from Florence. I think she is pretty happy where she is.They'd be stupid to think Staley would leave. Would miss Coach Law but would love to see her have the opportunity. She can recruit...
I'm well aware that she has. And just because she's home I doubt she's a been there done that type of person. Like you I think she's happy as well, but I won't be surprised if she takes a head job one day.Law has been a head coach. She had a stent with the Globetrotters. SC is home. Family from Florence. Gamekem is right about her recruiting prowess. If you watch the 2019 to 2021 players introductory tapes, they all call Law's name as one of the reasons why they chose SC.Recruiting classes. Agree. I also hope Zia Cooke shows up today. She has been a head scratcher this year. Elite at times and non-existent at others. The fact that she didn't play in the 4th yesterday says a lot about Dawn's level of frustration with her.
What I've been seeing from Zia all season long and especially yesterday is selfishness. That's why she's so awful this year. Teammates are open but she wants it all. Whether it's for stats, awards, pat on the shoulder etc but she's not team oriented at all. She can't take that mind set into the NCAA at allAgree. I also hope Zia Cooke shows up today. Yet, one of their bigs scored 27 points with 9 rebounds. We know that Kentucky can't stop our bigs -- I feel like that's a given. This will only be a close game if Kentucky stays hot from the 3 or if we become turnover prone.
Her teammates are open because no one guards Brea and Saxton 10 feet from the basket. lol, They regularly pass those shots up. Amihere shot an air ball from 10 feet away. Zia struggled yesterday, especially at the line, but her problem isn't selfishness. She asked to make things happen when the team can't get the ball inside. That doesn't help her shooting percentage.
