Lost in the madness of the last week was that 2023 OL Kamen Smith out of Wilkes Central in North Carolina received a South Carolina offer last Tuesday. I mentioned on Friday that I expected the staff to get him on campus ASAP, and today Smith got his first look at the Gamecocks up close. Smith just took an official visit to Virginia Tech this past weekend and according to the Wolfpack site, will take an official visit to N.C. State this coming weekend, meaning at least two of his officials are gone already. We will see if South Carolina can get him back two fill another of his 5 OVs.
