Still waiting on the full 2024 non-conference baseball schedule, but a few tidbits we know right now:
-- The location for the third South Carolina vs. Clemson game, usually either Greenville or Columbia at SEGRA Park, still has not been announced after the contract expired last year. If the teams play their usual first weekend of March, Fluor Field in Greenville will NOT be an option as it was just released the ballpark is slated to host the First Pitch Invitational that weekend, which involves Florida State, Illinois, Western Michigan and Michigan State.
It is, in theory, possible the teams could play a weekend other than week three of the season as they always have, but it is not likely with conference play starting for the ACC in week four. In all liklihood, Greenville is out as a possible location for the neutral site game between South Carolina and Clemson.
In addition...
-- Gardner-Webb will play a midweek at Founders Park on February 27th
-- Georgia Southern will play a midweek at Founders Park on April 3rd
Will update this thread as more comes across.
