Only 12 run plays in the game. 41 attempts by the QB. We can't get a 3rd or 4th down and 1 with any reliability. 95th in NCAA red zone offense (teamrankings.com). Defense on the field the entire game after numerous three and outs. Why let a young defense get their breath?

Don't dare blame the players, unless you're saying they don't have any confidence in our coaches to make the necessary changes. Heck, Wofford and Citadel run better offensive schemes that we do. Citadel stands toe-to-toe with #1 Alabama for a half and actually beat us. Pass, pass, pass, pass, pass is all we do. Offensive linemen don't need to be on their heels 50 times a ball game to block for average qb. Time to get back to basics and dump this offensive (truly) scheme. We will never our recruit our competition so its time to do something else to give us an edge.

You can't honestly say the were stuffing the run when we only attempted to run 12 runs the ENTIRE game. How do you determine the runs were stuffed, after 5-6 carries? Better call off the dogs, then, heck we'll just pass because we have an AWESOME qb. When we did run, we averaged almost 4 yards per carry (3.8). Passing for the entire game only netted 5.45 yds per attempt. We have an excellent chance of winning a game by averaging a little more than 4 yds per carry and, in return, we keep our defense off the field. They can't score if they don't have the ball. You do realize we only held the ball for about a quarter for the ENTIRE game????? P.S. we didn't have the ball, we didn't score.
We have to become a RUN-FIRST oriented offense if you're expecting to win at SC. 3rd and 4th and 1's have to be almost automatic. (No excuse for Bentley missing Dowdle in the 1st qtr). If we're going to be an ineffective, pass-happy offense, we might as well close everything down now.

UVA was. I noticed several times UVA had 6 players at the LOS. It’s like they were daring us to throw the ball.
