Tuesday’s practice was a solid one according to a source.

Offensively, some new looks and wrinkles are definitely possible. They’ve been working on things for weeks now, but haven’t been able to implement the last few games because of the deficit they were trying to fight back from. If Carolina gets off to a better start in this contest, look for things you haven’t seen from them so far this year.

The offensive line and tight ends have been challenged as group to play one of their best games of the year. Clemson’s defense is at its best when its defensive line is disrupting plays, but it’s a vulnerable defense when their line is neutralized, particularly against an offense like Carolina’s.

Defensively, the linebackers spent a lot of time working on the passes to the flat Clemson likes so much. The defensive tackles have also been pushed hard this week to control the line of scrimmage and the gaps their responsible for. As far as the defense as a whole goes, their attitude is reportedly better than it has been, but it remains to be seen just how they’ll play this weekend.

There have also been some personnel changes on special teams that could be key in the game.
