Years ago I was working in a store at Christmas. I wished a lady a merry Christmas and she said she hated Christmas. I asked why and she said it was because she was the youngest child. I asked why that had anything to do with her hating Christmas. She told me that every year her mother would put tinsel on their Christmas tree. And every year the family dog would eat the tinsel. Being the youngest child, it was always her job to pull the tinsel out of the dog’s butt. True story and I think of that woman every time I see tinsel at Christmas.
