I hate most of the changes the game has made. Instant replay is a travesty. Targeting likewise. The portal. Opt-outs. Don’t like any of it.
What I do like is teams gong for it on 4th down with much greater frequency. We can all remember the days when you would pretty much only go for it on fourth down if it was late in the game and you desperately had to score. Otherwise it was a rarity. You were considered a renegade riverboat gambler if you went for it on fourth down, no matter the down/distance/location.
