Adrian Peterson's son dies

And why is it a misleading headline? I said right off it is the Ga Southern and Bears Peterson so everyone would know which one it is. I knew hardly anything about the other Peterson. This one I have talked with and watched. This one played FB as good as the other one IMO. This one has always been the true Adrian Peterson in my book!

Sclaw meant (and said) your headline. It is misleading. I'm sure 99.9% of people would assume you mean the AP from Oklahoma and Minnesota. Your body of the post explains, but the subject is what was referenced.

Don't know how else I could have phrased it. "An unnamed football player's son dies" ?... when you mouse over any headline you can see the first sentence, so without even clicking in anyone could tell which Adrian Peterson I was referring to.

Not like anyone had waist time to run out and buy a newspaper, simply read which AP I was talking about which took maybe 3 seconds? Oh well...guess no one cares about a truly good guy in FB anyway, only the bad guys get talked about.

Lighten up a little. When I read the headline, I thought the same thing -- that it was the Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings. Like omabound said, the body of your post cleared it up though.

If you had phrased the headline differently, nobody could question: (GA Southern - Chicago Bears) Adrian Peterson's son dies. I just did it in my reply as an example. Note: There is no mouse-over feature when using an iPad or mobile phone. I did see the first sentence today since I'm accessing this forum from my work laptop, but normally I use my iPad or Samsung Galaxy and cannot see the first sentence of any post until I actually open.

Thank you for sharing the information. I didn't know that Peterson's son was sick. I too enjoyed watching him play at Georgia Southern as well as his time here in Chicago.
