There will be 8 D-1 basketball teams still playing, we are one of those 8.
Saw a post the other day where a Tater fan said they did not want to lower their athletic standards to those at South Carolina so just to put in perspective:
Final four in basketball: USC
2 Nat'l Titles in last 5 years in baseball: USC
Last football team to finish with a top 5 ranking: USC ( 5 of 6 in rivalry)
Golf: men's and women's top 10
Equestrian: #1 or 2
Give them credit, they have a fb nat' title 35 years ago
Give us credit: we have 1 ACC mens basketball title which is 1 more than them and we have been out of league for 40+ years.
We have won at Chapel Hill
So, hopefully they don't try to live up to our standards because they are way short!!!
