So on this forum we have talked about college football attendance nationwide and the downward trend. At Vanderbilt it dawned on me it will only get worse. Looking around, there were absolutely no kids in the stands. Granted, part of this due to the logistics of a road game and traveling kids while school is going on. However around the stadium this seemed to be the trend.
I believe college athletics raising ticket prices is eliminating the next generation of fans, and not just for football. A family can no longer afford to attend football games. Just a thought. Beat Kentucky!
