and Gregg Marshall extends his 1000 game lead in NCAA wins

Greg Marshall, without question, is a very good coach. We, probably, missed out on a great hire. But....we can't undo that now. Marshall is NOT here, Martin is. I will question the fandom of someone who calls Martin "your coach". Martin is our coach, that is if you are a Gamecock fan. His program IS improving. NO ONE on this board knows if he will end up successful here or not, YET.
Instead of acting like little children and throwing things in each other's faces, why don't we try something new and that is to actually get behind who we do have coaching and let's see what might happen!!

I'm a fan that wanted us to hire GM, and still think we were stupid not to do so. Now FM is our head coach, and he works hard for our school and players. He has 2 highly ranked recruits coming in next season, so I am excited about that. It is possible next year could see us win 20+ and make a tournament. I am hoping the best next season for FM and our boys.
IF - next year we still win only around 15 games... it is possible we make a change. I do not hold to the theory that you should give a coach 5-6 years. In football I could see waiting 5 years for substantial improvement, but in basketball you should see much improvement in 4 years. If we can't step forward with a player like Dozier...then it's probably not going to happen. I do think it is wrong for Gamecock fans to say derogatory comments about each other based on who we may like or dislike as a coach. The number one thing I want is for us to have a winning team and program. I will pull for whatever coach leads our team to wins.
