Skin cancer is a pretty big deal, especially for those of us who grew up back in the day when a tan was considered healthy! We now know better and the skin damage caused back in our misspent youth can come back to haunt us later in life.
You younger folk aren't of the hook either. I have seen more than a couple USC students with precancerous lesions.
Anyway, for the past four years I have been seeing a dermatologist every July and just this week had 4 precancerous lesions burned off of my face and back. I have two burned off four years ago.
Precancerous lesions are easy to get rid of and the chances for a cure are good if cancer is caught early.
