During the postgame, Andrew Harrison was caught on an open mic saying, "F--- that N------". The comments were in relation to a question directed at another Kentucky player about Wisconsin's Frank Kominsky.

So, my question is this, in light of the punishments across the country handed down for making racist statements, does Harrison deserve to be punished by UK?

We will never hear about this because there is such a double standard.

He's already getting the free pass. But what did you expect. I'll have to admit, Stephen A Smith actually called it realistically.

Look, I don't think the Harrison kid is a bad kid for saying what he said. And there's people who are persecuted for saying something they wish they had not...........but it's the double standard that is so concerning. Paula Dean was run through the ringer for simply admitting she had used a certain word 20 years ago.......she told the truth and followed it up by saying she wish she had not. Didn't matter to most cause they had the sound bite they wanted.

Oh well, no big deal and it's Easter...............Hope the Lady G's pull it off tonight. Happy Easter everyone.

The fact that Kaminsky is white makes this nothing more than a very stupid comment.
If he called him a"cracker" or "honkey"....lol! At the end of the day,we have a sore loser putting his university, and basketball program in a bad light.
Ashley Judd is rolling over in her grave!

This is more than just a stupid comment. It's thuggery at its best. Had Kaminsky said this about Harrison the University of Wisconsin would be damage control mode right now with Al Sharpton on his way to a press conference.

Except it was early and I originally thought they both were black. Not that it should make a bit of difference either way but it will be interesting to see how it plays out versus the other way around.

Don't you know only WHITE FOLKS are " RACIST" You can't be BLACK and be a RACIST.

If Kominsky had said that, Wisconsin would have to forfeit the Game. Truly a DOUBLE STANDARD.

I said this in another theard, one way to reduce racial tension in this country today is to make the consequences equally bad for anyone using the horrible N word. Now, this is by no means is the one and only answer to racial tensions in America but I think it would help to reduce racial tensions signifantly.

For example, someone on the national news stated the young men from Oklahoma that used that horrible word would have a brighter future if they were part of ISIS.

Again, when the word is used by rappers, pop singers and so on with impunity, then that in and of itself is going to create a lot of harsh feelings. Why not eradicate the word as best as possible by making anyone who uses the word pay the consequences. As long as some people are allowed to use the word, it's never going away.

Completely true or not, minorities are viewed as disadvantaged in this country. There is certainly evidence to back that up, too.

White people are viewed as powerful and privileged. I think there is evidence to back that up, as well.

Use your heads, people. White people can't say certain things, and I'm ok with that.

I'm looking forward to the list of what white people can't say and what black people can't say. Certainly sounds like "vocabulary segregation" to me. And that sounds somewhat counter-productive.

What white people can't say: nigg** (didn't finish it because I'm white)

What black people can't say: I would like to join the country club.

Re: No, he used a word that vile and disgusting to all races.****

Right, because the word means the same to blacks and whites. Just stop already, you bobos.

You fail to realize your example of "black people not being able to join a country club" is inherently racist. Why can't a black person join a country club? They are no more or less than anyone else.

Is that the best you have? A typo?

Sure, I could have edited but a typo doesn't take away the facts and the fact is there is a double standard. I point to the USC student who was suspended, and rightfully so, but media and everyone writes it off as "culture" when its used by a black person.

But yes, latch on to a typo because you have absolutely zero rebuttal.

Good day!

It is only a derogatory term when it is used to describe a black person. If a white person called a black person a cracker it would have the same effect which is none because it's only derogatory when used to describe a white person. I don't see what's so difficult to understand.

that logic is exactly why double standards exist.
