They announced 15,255 for the game. There's no way that there were 2,700 empty seats there. Maybe 1,000.
Announced attendance for today's WBB game is bogus.

Wondered how the attendance would be after the UConn loss. Great to see it's what it was. Wish I were closer to Cola.

From my seats down on row 1, the only empty seats that I could see were in the top of the visitors side upper end zone. Lower bowl almost completely full as was the upper decks on the right and across . I thought maybe close to 17, 200 - 17,500.
When UT's WBB team comes to town you have to believe that bad boy is going to be a complete sellout. Maybe, MSU, too.
I went ahead and bought both games today at the CLA.
UT tickets are going fast. Didn't want to get scalped before the game.
It was packed from my view point. Only one section wasn't full. At least 16,500 maybe 17 or more.
Sat in 108, and saw no empty seats in the upper. You probably had a view of the seats above my head. I had no view of 210-214 during the game, but saw that there were some empties before the game. I know that all of the other section in the upper were pretty full.
Like I said, probably 17,000 in there today. Definitely more than the 15,255 that was announced.
How does the ticket situation for wbb work? I was looking to get tickets for the Tennessee game and I see that they are general admission. I would guess that would be first come first serve in sections that aren't reserved. Are there any seats in the lower bowl that are general admission ?

Not necessarily. There have been several baseball games where the attendance reported was lower because of the 8,242 limit by fire code. There have been crowds of over 9,000 there.
That said, most of the time, they fudge. Like the Friday baseball opener. I guessed about 7,500, and USC reported over 8,000. No way.
yes, the only reserved seats are those that are direct courtside. The corners and ends are all GA but fill up 30-45 mins before the game. If you've never been to CLA don't worry--the upper seating is actually very good. Only complaint I've heard is that it's hot up there.
It is. Just wear short sleeves underneath a jacket, and he/she will be fine. Actually, I watched several games from the first row of the upper. Great seats.
These days, I get there early and grab the best seat that I can find in the lower. Personally, it's a wash. The first row of the upper is a steal.
