Keeping y'all in the loop here, Irmo (S.C.) Dutch Fork four-star WR Antonio Williams is scheduled to take his official visit to Ole Miss this weekend.
That's obviously a big one as the Rebels have long been considered the Gamecocks' biggest competition of the schools that have offered.
With the early signing period on the horizon, Williams' recruitment has hit the final stages.
Clemson could be offering soon as the Tigers are expected to miss out on four-star receiver Andre Green Jr. when he announces next week. I'm not ready to say they'll become the instant favorite, but they'll be in the mix if/when that offer comes. They were at his game last week.
Auburn and Georgia are the other two that have been in it, but it would be a surprise if he ends up at either.
There's a lot to keep an eye on with this one over the next few weeks. Justin Stepp has been working his tail off here, but the Gamecocks will definitely need to continue to show some progress on offense as they did last week against Florida.
