I do not remember this story. But this podcast is very good. Brett Talley has a great storytelling voice.

It’s an inexplicable mystery. Two elderly people, beloved in their community, brutally murdered at their lake house for no apparent reason. Who killed Russell and Shirley Dermond?

This is also one of my favorite episodes. I've thought a lot about this one.

Glad you liked it.
My wife likes to listen to them with me when we drive somewhere.

They are really good. I'm glad they give their theories on what happened. I think Brett has a real gift and talent in coming up with likely theories- ones I often don't think about.
