Anyone know the facts/story concerning Kitt's not being allowed to play yesterday?

They stated that it was an academic issue ... (LOL!!! I'm certain that she can spell her name without assistance) but, it's somewhat odd that she wasn't allowed to play, yet allowed to dress, allowed to sit on the bench and allowed to travel out-of-state, with the team.

The only things I can think of: 1} It was a Coach Staley benching (for whatever reason) or 2) She just skipped an exam/test without permission.

C'mon, .... dudes playing in their 7th year of eligibility?, dudes playing for their 3rd & 4th school?, a ROYAL A-hole suing the NCAA for additional eligibility since N.I.L. wasn't allowed during his first two years? An NFL Player getting his degree 15 years after flunking out and without ever having attended another class since???

SERIOUSLY .... I used to think it was only about the $$$... NO!!!! It's only about the stupidity. They used to call it Prostitution ... making money for using your body, for display or abuse ... now they're called Sex Industry Workers or Professional Athletes.

My guess is that she had a class attendance issue or skipped some sort of mandatory study session.

The only other thing I can think of would be that she's missed so much work in a class that it caught the attention of her teacher or tutors.

I was glad to see the suspension. I think it shows the coaching staff takes things seriously and you have to take care of your business first.

The son of a friend of my wife already had her on quit mid-semester at a small college and return home. He wasn't doing well adjusting to being way from home and wasn't going to class anymore. He's a good kid so it wasn't that he went crazy at school. Just wasn't doing his work.

You need to learn to read and comprehend before commenting. I only compared the number of games each missed (nothing else) which is 100% accurate. You threw in Exhibitions which are not games. Our record is 2-0. If Exhibition scrimmages were games our record would be 4-0, but it is not. I was 100% correct and you are wrong. Just deal with your error and move along.

I wouldn't because it wouldn't make any sense. I'm not going to invent facts of the case to try to make a point. That doesn't make any sense either.

Watkins wasn't living with this other girl. - It's not domestic violence. You want it to be. It's not.

We've talked this subject to death, mainly because some of the folks don't like Coach Staley. Grow the hell up and get over it.

She went through the legal process and PTI. (PTI is also available for some domestic violence cases by the way- even though this wasn't one). She was suspended for 2 months. She paid her price and the only person that matters, Coach Staley, reinstated her.

if this was a key football player and the same thing had happened, most of the same people whining would be screaming bloody murder that the player was suspended at all.
