As fans, we do not need to publicly bash our team and coaches. This

situation will correct itself when attendance and support drop off. College sports is now all about the money and when the money drops off, the athletic department will react.

Otherwise, it serves no purpose to publicly bash our team and coaches. It may be a way of venting frustration but that should be done privately.

The entire point of fan venting is to complain to people who are witnessing the the same thing being complained about so that they can get the message. Private venting is not really venting. It doesn't count.

I understand what you are saying. But this isn't division 3 ball. This is big time baseball and this team is bad.

Messageboards are for venting. Been that way for years. Maybe it's "public bashing" as you suggest but I doubt Ray or any BOT are really paying attention to this board. Wish they would though.

And fools be fools.
BSF, the ignore button was invented for people like Earle. He hasn't posted one thing worth reading in 50,000+ posts, and he isn't about to start now.

I agree with you on that point. Our enemies love to see us wallow in misery.

Re: Nonsense......we tried that asinine route with the basketball

program and it destroyed the program for a decade..

..lack of fans reacting is a sign of apathy as is an EMPTY stadium or EMPTY Colonial Center and EMPTY stadiums are 100x worst for recruiting than mad fans on webpages.

Here is the situation at this point.....sadly Holbrook will NEVER face a better environment for recruiting quality players than he faced over the past 3 years and this debacle on the field is the result.......imagine how horribly this staff will do with just average conditions?

Darrin Horn repeat.

Don't throw easy 6-4 put out, leading to SIX (6) unearned runs, into right field and boards stay quiet.

These comments make way too much sense.

I serves a purpose for me. If I don't want a coach on this team or a player I can let people know. Purpose fulfilled.

i normally wouldn't say anything bad about gamecock sports on the message board. if i didn't have anything good to say, i just didn't post. but that changed after that touchdown tenn made on the 4th and 17, from the 30 yard line with about 20 seconds left in the half. i vented and complained the rest of football season. i kind of got it out of my system.
as far as baseball, i'll just say i think coach tanner was a better coach than coach holbrook, and leave it at that.

There is no benefit in ignoring a problem and pretending it doesn't exist. You fix a problem by first identifying it and addressing it head on and being brutally honest about it. It sucks that people get their feelings hurt sometimes in this, but we aren't talking about young children, we are talking about grown men and women and young adults that need to learn toughness in order to face to face and conquer the real world which is often harsh and uncaring. They need to learn how to handle their feelings being hurt because life will hurt you much more than any comment from some person on an internet message board ever will.

oh yea, clemson fans are loving watch some of yall whine and cry to absolutely no avail..

I went over to the UCF rivals site a couple years ago and fans were tearing their recruiting apart. Right after winning the Fiesta Bowl over Baylor. It happens at every school, even during successful periods. Before Blake Bortles went in the 1st round of the draft, their fans were all over football recruiting.

It certainly didn't hurt their recruiting to have fans venting about their recruiting. It's patently ridiculous to suggest that message board posters have the power to influence recruits and where they commit.
