A while back, we posted a list of South Carolina targets that were invited and were possible attendees to the Elite 75 camp in Columbia this weekend. Here is a list of confirmed attendees for September 12. Remember, this is not a camp that is put on by USC, but it takes place in Columbia. A few of these are more likely to be football recruits for USC, but they remain on the list.

North Charleston (SC) Fort Dorchester F Bruce Ellington.
On Ellington, he is hard to reach but he has blown up over the summer and has been getting lots of calls. USC has their in-home tomorrow night with him. It has been said that nothing will happen (decision-wise) tomorrow night, at least not publicly. From what I'm hearing USC is in great shape with Bruce and he only wants to play basketball. Look for something to go down here sooner rather than later.
I spoke with a source close to Damontre Harris; USC is going in to see him sometime Wednesday as well. Expect the Gamecocks to pull out all the stops as this kid is a player. According to the source, he has USC and Florida (who will be in early next week) at the top with Maryland (who will be in the home Thursday) trying to break into the picture.
All in all, the basketball picture is looking great; with Smith and Slawson in the bag and Ellington possibly close behind them the Gamecocks are making some noise on the recruiting trail.
