Beamer gets a little more frank (no pun intended) about the offense

It’s not going to happen overnight, but Beamer Ball will bring us championships (yeah, plural). It’s like Heinz ketchup, the best things come to those who wait.

I’m glad he and Satterfield finally seem to be coming around to the reality that there are issues on offense (or at least finally acknowledging it publicly), but I don’t have much optimism we’ll see much result on the field. If, as Beamer insinuates, it’s a talent issue, then that can’t be fixed mid season. If it were scheme, I don’t anticipate a lot of change in Game #8. But we can’t start working towards next season. Maybe something will still click this season.

It's definitely a talent issue,

Our total offensive ranking is a bit worse since last year.

TIFWIW, but Bobo went to Auburn, and has them ranked #31 in total offense.

It's not exactly an apples to apples comparison, but it shows the talent disparity.

I'm not a Satterfield apologist by any means, but he has dialed up some plays that should've went for TD's if not for poor QB play. He wasn't the reason we lost the Kentucky game.

Let him go coach with Roper. They seem to see eye to eye on things.
