What is the world could Beamer be smiling about and happy about after this ugly mess ? Also the crowd for homecoming is an embarrassment .

He's probably smiling because a player on his team just had the greatest moment of his athletic career. I wasn't happy about the way this game was played, but I was sure enjoying Zeb's moment at the end of the game and I don't even know the guy.

Kinda reminds me of "I can throw the fade".
