Yes, Hair and Hound is good, but the best one around is the Northwest Grill just north of Travelers Rest on 276.

I will add Northwest Grill...since I drive down to Greenville once a week to see my folks...I go down Hwy 25 from Hendersonville so I will definitely add this to my list...thanks

Anyone who lives in the Greenville area, what's the burger joint in that town? I'll be spending a good bit of time there soon. I had a good one at Smoke On The Water, but it was not a gourmet burger restaurant.

My favorite place is Zorba Lounge on Washington St. across from a Spinx station. It’s a dump but get the bacon cheeseburger and a half order of fries. Comes on an onion bun.

No, Ike's is the one that sued over the mask mandate. Ike's burgers are great, although the bologna sandwich is my favorite

If anyone visits Greenwood, try Kickers Takeout. They cook the burgers in an iron skillet. Good stuff.

Excellent burger.

Actually anything you order at Kickers is going to be great. Best lunch in Greenwood IMO.

I grew up in an area called “The Valley”. Basically a string of old mill villages throughout a half dozen towns.
We had some good burger spots back then in a small area.
Blue Top/Graniteville
Midway/Gloverville
Fords Pool Room/ Graniteville
L&M/ Gloverville (I ate a 1000)
Dairy Bar/Langley

I did not know Zorba was still there....I think I went to that place 30 years ago when I was home from Carolina. Seems like when I went there it was a bar/saloon...
