The city that never sleeps has been going through emotional turmoil as the skies keep crying trying to wash away all the impurities of the area 😎😎. We will try to start the first if a two game set tonight and tomorrow night. Tonight’s game will be on Fox 🦊 local affiliates. Tomorrow nights game will be played on ESPN Sunday Night Baseball Broadcast.
Roster Moves
The Braves have placed Marcel Ozuna on the 10 day IL retroactive to Wednesday. That is just the designation but also indicates that they feel he will be back before 60 days (6 weeks =42 days for the math incompetent 🤔) therefore they did not want to stall his return should he heal faster that anticipated. In a corresponding move the Braves have recalled Johan Carmargo to take over the super utility player role because Adrianza is going to get the everyday job in left field for the time being. Inciarte will spell Heredia in Centerfield when needed. This move will also dispel any notion of bringing up Waters, Almonte or Arcia as there would have to be a 60 day IL designation or DFA to open up a spot on the 40 man roster for any of those activations to happen.

The Braves will throw Ian Anderson tonight to face off against Tiajaun Walker. Anderson seems to be finding his rhythm but he does tend to take a couple of innings to hone on on his location. Pitching near his home town he may have a few jitters but maybe he has experienced them enough already to make this a moot point. Walker only pitched 3 innings of effective baseball before leaving the game with an injury
Or strained discomfort in the rib cage area. Will be interesting to see if the discomfort has been minimized and that the damp conditions don’t hinder his ability to get loose. I anticipate a low scoring co test with the Braves prevailing.
