Interesting thought here: personally, I'd be very inclined to consider an Allard for Wheeler deal.
Not sure what the Braves will end up doing, but the bullpen has stabilized so well, that I think adding a starter is actually the more critical move. Bumgarner, Stroman, Wheeler...there are options out there, and any one of them would be innings eaters, which is going to be important.
A Ken Giles, Will Smith or Shane Green would be a nice addition to the back end of the bullpen, and I'm sure that's being explored. I'd imagine there's going to be a bit of a game of chicken on some of these guys, and that we may not see a move until close to the end of the month.
Let's win today and go into the break with a 6 game lead at minimum. Then it's going to be time to start really focusing on closing this out. Washington still worries me.
