Julio Teheran threw 6 innings of 2 hit shutout baseball and the Braves bullpen arms of Swarzyk and Jackson completed the the mastery as the Atlanta Braves won a pitching duel 1-0. The. Raves only run came in the top of the seventh inning as Rookie Phenom Riley legged out a hustle double, went to third base on an Albies flyout and scored on a sacrifice fly from Flowers. The win keeps the Braves 2 games behind the Phillies who defeated the Reds 4-1.
Dallas Keuchel was scheduled to pitch for Gwinnett tonight but the game was rained out. His contract calls for him to be activated to the major league club no later than June 18th.
