BREAKING: South Carolina expected to hire Sterling Lucas to fill staff opening

Never heard of him. I do know the Jags D was atrocious this year. Hopefully he can recruit the state of Florida

I still hate him for not flipping to us as a recruit.

Looks like Shane was primary recruiter back then.

I like it. I hated losing Mike Peterson....but like the S. Lucas pick. Was a good player, and I've heard great things about his work ethic and interactions as a coach.
Losing Peterson is a blow. Hope this guy can do it. Our D Ends have been a bright spot.

Lucas graduated from North Carolina State in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in communications and played linebacker for the Wolfpack from 2008-12, finishing his career with 167 tackles, 4.0 sacks and one INT. An Orangeburg, S.C. native, Lucas and his wife Brittany, have one daughter, Londyn.
