When Tommy Bowden was at Clemson, I called into the show one night to talk about how great the opposing coach was they were getting ready to face and what a good job they were doing. I think they were playing Wake or Maryland. I don't even remember. I was just making up stuff. I also added that he took something out of context regarding the Gamecocks. I didn't insult Clemson or Coach Bowden or anything like that at all- I just didn't mention them. I then hung up or they hung up on me. But they let me say my piece.
Jim Phillips said something like "I think that likely was not a Clemson fan" or something like that.
Can't believe I did that, but it was a long time ago. It was pretty stupid. I don't ever listen to Dabo's show or whatever (I assume he has one) and I barely listen to ours.
