It is amazing with facilities that we have for all three major sports,and the fan support we give,and all three programs suck!! We have great facilities and a great fanbase and support,and we still can't be a consistent winner in either Football or Basketball!! Spurrier has done a good job,but not willing to go the extra effort to take this program to the next level,he doesn't recruit!! And isn't a very open minded coach!! Coach Martin just yells at players,doesn't coach at all!! Holbrook well just truly don't think he understands how to coach,we should enroll him in a Baseball 101 class!! I like him personally,he is just not ready for a job of this caliber!!

If you think we have great facilities and a huge fan base you ought to see Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Florida, Auburn just to name a few. And these are just he ones in our conference. We are hardly on the radar screen when it comes to big time college sports.
We have just as good as facilities as anybody,there is no excuse for us to be sub par,Dick Vitale said that about Carolina,he said we have all the resources to be a big time Basketball program,that we are a sleeping giant,and Herbstreit said something similar about the Football program,all those programs have great facilities,but dang it we do too,there is no excuses,we hold our own in that department!!
And we have as loyal of a fanbase as anywhere,we are top 10 in attendance in Baseball,and top 20 in Football almost every season,so we have plenty of support,these things are not what is holding us back,it's the coaches running the programs!!
SOS sucks as a recruiter, no doubt. The determination, focus, emphasis, whatever is simply absent from his radar. Our next coach better love recruiting or it'll be back to square one for the football program. South Carolina's demographics + Clemson demand a hard driving, never take a break HC. SOS is psychologically incompatible with that profile.
Martin - we'll just have to wait and see in what is becoming a boring wait. Holbrook? HC fiber is simply not there. Tanner took the easy way out, jumped into the AD's job by convincing Pastidis that the baseball program wouldn't miss a beat and Voila! Instant program destruction!
Coach Spurrier - I thank him for what he has done for our program. He will go down as the greatest coach to coach here so far, but I wish he would of go ahead and retire last year. For the same reasons stated above.
Coach Martin - Has the program headed in the right direction. Needs more time, he's building a program to win for a long time, so he's changing the culture and that takes patience.
Coach Holbrook - I don't follow baseball so I'll leave this to the ones that do but it is disappointing to see our elite program decline so fast. I don't know what's going on but I hope we can become elite again.

Without a doubt its not a football , basketball or baseball school for sure. All three major mens sports teams are in the tank. One coach is too old , another has anger issues and the third is just in over his head.
Again, the one that's too old has owned your younger coach; the one that's too angry beat your team like a drum this year and is bringing in some players. Your coach is simply terrible but your athletic department will let him muddle along because they can't pay for a coach. The last coach has also owned jack Legg and has the #1 recruiting class in the country. So, again, you taters are the most delusional bunch of dim bulbs on the planet.
