CFP OR BOWL BOUND?

Sure Gertrude

Try English as a second language. I'm sure you can get a special price with your grossly impresssive reading comprehension disability.

Hate to continue to embarrass you but "I've booked hotels in various cities just in case" implies that you've booked hotel rooms in more than one city.

Run that by your wife for clarification if you need to.

I sometimes have difficultly sleeping at night over the remote possibility that we attended the same University.

If it's in Orlando, I don't need a hotel - I don't think. I have a condo that I can use that I've had since 2002 if I don't have too many family members that come with me. But, I did reserve some just in case for family.

In Tampa I do. So, I have reserved rooms there.

🧐

Let's add a basic Florida geography 101 course to your ESL reading comprehension class. Good luck.

I'm confused. Which lie are we supposed to follow - the original one about multiple hotel rooms or the one you've posted today involving a condo? It's difficult to keep up with all of your propaganda. :)

Of the 10 predictions on the Citrus Bowl site, 5 are for us.

1 for Ole Miss. The other 4 for bama. Last week there was only 1 for us.

Kyle Bonagura (ESPN): Illinois vs. Alabama
Mark Schlabach (ESPN): Illinois vs. South Carolina
Jerry Palm (CBS Sports): Illinois vs. Alabama
Brett McMurphy (Action Network): Illinois vs. South Carolina
Brad Crawford (247Sports): Illinois vs. South Carolina
Steve Lassan (Athlon Sports): Illinois vs. South Carolina
Erick Smith (USA Today): Illinois vs. South Carolina
College Football News: Illinois vs. Ole Miss
The Athletic: Illinois vs. Alabama
The Sporting News: Illinois vs. South Carolina

The Citrus Bowl it is.

This is the type of Bowl matchup that makes you really appreciate the fact we're in the SEC and have a very exciting regular season from week-to-week.

I hope Beamer & Co. can rally the troops to not only show up -- but also to play their best.

I was at an early "Men's Breakfast" at church this morning. A man at my table, coincidentally from Illinois, told us that this was the matchup. He bemoaned that he would be a lonely supporter of the Illini in these parts. I told him that he won't be. I assured him that Clemson fans will join him in pulling for Illinois.
