Smith is going to be in Columbia on Friday for the Gamecocks' Pool Bash event. He's on USC's board as a defensive back.
Smith told me that there at least a chance that he pulls the trigger on a commitment this weekend. I've been told it could be on Friday or Saturday, if it ends up taking place.
