Clemson Trying To Cancel & Reschedule

News reports that 'school officials' are currently meeting to discuss the possibility of canceling tomorrow's game claiming 'emergency conditions' swince the Governor advised people not to go to the game "it's on TV, stay off the roads" was her advice.

Since clemson is 94th nationally rushing and Notre Dame is 4th they WANT to 'reschedule'.

I hope Notre Dame INSISTS the game be played.

Sounds about right ... the news report was that the results of the meeting would be announced at 4 PM - I SAW the Governor's comment "NOT to go to the game, stay off the roads" LIVE
clemson could NOT 'cancel' without the agreement of Notre Dame - and why would ND 'agree'? They can't wait to kick clemson's a$$ after all the bragging and talking - they fully intend to shut clemson up ASAP

Actually a ND website reported earlier that ND would be willing to move the game to Sunday or even Monday if need be but both schools saw no reason to postpone the game at this time although both schools would keep an eye on conditions between now and tomorrow night.

The decision was based primarily on one FACT - 8:00 PM ABC national game. That is IT. CU rarely has an opportunity to host a nationally relevant game as a member of the acc. Two ranked teams and the fact that ND is the foe, make this game an absolute priority for Tillman Tech to carry on...

South Carolina has hosted Game Day five times, beat #1 Bama and blew out #7 UGA the last two times ESPN chose the Horseshoe as their choice of venue...
