Hate to admit it but they have better players and are much better coached.
I was captivated the entire 60 minutes. I also was there. My post was from the game so some pt after half time.
DJU is not like the other 2. He is wildly inaccurate so we couldn’t get too sexy with playcalling. My biggest criticism of Elliot is sticking with the plan to throw it around long after it was clear DJU couldn’t throw accurately with any consistency. If we had decided to run more in game 3 or 4 we likely are playing next weekend.Didn't look like it this year. The lack of Watson, Lawrence, and Etiene might have something to do with it. They were playmakers even with busted or basic plays.
But the OL had issues too. And the RB's aren't Etienne.DJU is not like the other 2. He is wildly inaccurate so we couldn’t get too sexy with playcalling. Dude with Boom4life handle wants to talk about stupidity.By that I meant newsprings I don’t care about auburn in this discussion. Newsprings is the one that gets pushed the most around here.
It’s definitely better when there is a running threat but the key to the whole offense is RHYTHM, which you cannot achieve with a QB that can’t hit the broadside of a barn. But the OL had issues too. And the RB's aren't Etienne.
That is why they kept throwing it. And Elliott (and Dabo) were hoping the light bulb would turn on in DJU's head, and he would transform into the QB from the ND game last year.
DJU isn't the threat to run like Lawrence and Watson were threats to run. That offense works when the QB is a threat to run. It opens everything else. The play-action, etc.
DJU prefers the pocket, but he stares down receivers and can't really read the field.
If they their OL was better and DJU played like he did against ND last year, then they would have played next weekend.
It’s a little too early to be this drunk, sir. They aren’t anything special. We will get the upper hand back real soon
I don’t realize you could change it once a year and didn’t want to lose my join date and stuff. I have put in a request for it to be changed waiting on an approval from a mod.Dude with Boom4life handle wants to talk about stupidity.
They couldn't really change gears because of the OL problems too as well as DJU. You won't have rhythm with those two problems, which are major problems. The RB's were young and still learning as they go.It’s definitely better when there is a running threat but the key to the whole offense is RHYTHM, which you cannot achieve with a QB that can’t hit the broadside of a barn.
Elliot is an easy scapegoat but in reality his hands have been tied this year. The backs are good - better overall than years past (Etienne is clearly better than any of them) but there is no deep threat on the outside and every throw is an adventure.
If he would have changed gears in game 3 or 4 instead of game 8 things would have been different.
It's gonna be harder to replace your "I Love Boom" back tattoo.I don’t realize you could change it once a year and didn’t want to lose my join date and stuff. I have put in a request for it to be changed waiting on an approval from a mod.

Sect. 3 - about halfway up. I went with a guy that has four seats on the aisle across from Sect. 4. He also has lounge access. I wish the game had been better, but the vantage point and people around us were fine.Cool.
What section were u in?
You can’t be serious. I see post like this pretty often on here. We should accept that they recruit good players, they develop them well, and the coach them well. To me, that is much easier to believe than this nonsense.Gotta pay the players to get them. The elite talent want to cash in. Clemson was willing to pay their price to get this going. We need to do the same. It’s the only way. I’m not talking NIL or this Garnet thing. I’m talking about some real cash/payoffs etc that can’t be traced back to the program. Funnel it through a Church like Auburn and Clemson. I may need to look up the meaning of laundering or a how to but there has to be a way.
