Baseball sucks right now, but we RULE in women's tennis - yes!
Other than baseball, it has been a great year: Women's Tennis in Sweet 16. Men's tennis makes 2nd round of NCAAs. Women's hoops wins national title, men's hoops in Final Four, women's soccer wins SEC and makes Elite 8 for 2nd time in 3yrs, men's soccer in NCAAs, beach volleyball makes NCAA championships for first time, women's golf wins NCAA regional AGAIN, men's golf currently playing in NCAA regional, softball makes NCAA for fifth year in a row, football goes to bowl in coach's first year.... by all means, fire Ray.
Nobody wants to fire Ray , but did he hire any of these coaches? The only 1 he has hired is Holbrooken.
I know he kept Staley from considering the Ohio State job a few years back. That counts in my book.
Just an fyi. I'm a Ray fan and was being sarcastic. He has all sports (outside of baseball), moving in the right direction.
There is more to being a good athletic director than hiring and firing.
Has also made F. Martin happy. Martin left his last job because of a strained relationship with the AD.
i am okay with Ray, I dont think even he foresaw what CH could have possibly done to the program, Hell i dont think the Wizard of Oz could have predicted this... So i will give Ray a pass until this baseball season is over, then if he doesnt fire CH, it will be ALL ON HIM!!

Absolutely true. You are the CEO of a large company. You've got to provide support to your coaches - not just material, but morale-boosting support too. "If tennis needs X to succeed, do your best to ensure tennis gets X."
