Heard a bit of this on the ride in this morning on 107.5 The Game, so I looked it up, and there are some pretty interesting facts about this year's Pro Bowl players and how they were ranked coming out of high school according to Rivals. I've linked the story if you want to read the whole thing, but here are a few tidbits:

-There are 21 two-star and 24 three-star players on this year's Pro Bowl team. Darren Sproles is the only player on the roster WHO DIDN'T RECEIVE A SINGLE STAR RANKING coming out of high school.

-J.J. Watt was a TWO-STAR player coming out of high school. Wow!

-Only 10 players on the entire Pro Bowl roster were five-star players, and four of them were from the same class in 2008.

-Jimmy Graham, arguable the best tight end in football, was a four-star player...IN BASKETBALL! He played four seasons of hoops at Miami (Fla) and then in his 5th year, joined the Hurricane football team.

-Not one single member of the Pro Bowl team achieved a Rivals overall ranking above #4. Three players were ranked #4 overall in their recruiting class by Rivals.

Again, pretty interesting article if you want to read up on it. Just click...
