Could Irma affect the home opener vs. KY?

Its mostly gonna be wind. They said it will only rain one inch max in Columbia. Thats how fast its moving.
 
Not going to be nearly as bad in Columbia, or even the upstate, as once feared. And the weather folks seem to keep moving the projected path more and more to the west. Figure minimal damage, if any, at this point. See zero problems ahead

Wonderful. Now, if we can beat Missouri today we have a chance to have a good start to the season. Come on guys beat Missouri tonight.

ATLANTA — First-ever tropical storm warning issued for Atlanta as Hurricane Irma hits Florida on its way toward Georgia.
 
I imagine that there will be some impact in the area, e.g., wind, rain, power outages, etc. but not enough to prevent the game from being played as scheduled. Maybe fewer attendees at the game.
Maybe with respect to those traveling from Florida.
