What did they do to make you hate them?I hate the Cowboys. I'm grateful for any means by which they lose.
The same thing the Yankees did. What did they do to make you hate them?
Win most of their titles in the 20's and 30's?The same thing the Yankees did.
Fired in humiliating fashion people who were foundational when ownership changed.Win most of their titles in the 20's and 30's?
When is being fired not a humiliation? Have you ever been fired? I was fired once. It was humiliating. I loved Tom Landry. He was the only coach they ever had. At the end though even the owner knew he needed to go but was afraid of the public outcry by people like you. THE OWNER made it a condition of sale that the new owner fire Landry. If you bought a company and the existing CEO wasn't getting it done but was popular among the workers would you let your new company go under? Most people would not. Of course Jones did fire the CEO that WAS getting it done so there's that. If there's a reason to hate them it would be Jones, as most people here in the Dallas area do hate him. But my love of the Star was instilled at such an early age I can't go anywhere else. Just have to wait out this ownership. I wish the city of Arlington could aquire them through imitate domain. I love the Cowboys. I hate the owner.Fired in humiliating fashion people who were foundational when ownership changed.
Landry had proven himself; it was the front office that had lost its edge. Landry was merely the FACE. In any case, I hate the Cowboys. It's neater that way. That's what's wrong with the world today, people equivocating about their convictions all the time. When something is blighted, it's blighted. There's no need to differentiate. It's a sports team. I hate UPC. Critical analysis of the reasons is not even necessary. I hate UNC and Notre Dame also. You don't even try to appeal to or reason with anyone who hates a sports team. It's what makes the athletic world go 'round. It need not be cerebral; it's visceral. Maybe what I hate is how some people love the Cowboys in a way that irrational to me. But I don't try to figure them out. When is being fired not a humiliation? Have you ever been fired? I was fired once. It was humiliating. I loved Tom Landry. He was the only coach they ever had.
