Damn this rain . . . good grief! *

Yeah. I like rain and like to walk in it but my grass is a foot high. I could have cut last week and I did do the trim but riding lawnmower wouldn't start so I bought a new battery from WM but it still wouldn't start. I had scheduled maintenance with Sears(it took them almost 3 weeks to get a maintenance guy here. I will never buy another lawnmower from Sears)and when he showed up he had to jump new battery!! I had bought to get it to start so I went to HD and bought a new one and had to pay a $12 charge because WM had taken my old battery and I didn't have one to trade. :>( Sears man said WM battery didn't have enough amps or something to run a riding mower He said I needed at least 340 which WM did not have. I still haven't put new battery on to try because of what you said.

My tale of woe has ended.:>)

Sunshine pumper here(irony intended)! This is great news for my blueberry bushes and blackberry patch! Wet spring = great berries

We needed the rain. Had been pretty dry for weeks before that. I lucked out and mowed the lawn just before the rain started last Monday afternoon. The humidity is maddening though. Walk outside and it's a sauna out there.

It ain't no use to grumble and complain,
it's just as cheap and easy to rejoice.
When God sorts out the weather and sends rain,
rains my choice.
