Do we always have to find ways to blow a game?

Definitely won by the refs. Good effort Gamecocks.

Nah. Don't want you running back to the Clemson boards making fun of us for blaming the refs.

It's not true anyway.

We had 13 penalties and one of our players committed a TOTALLY unnecessary personal foul- heck maybe he did it on purpose it was so bad- and that is hard to overcome.

Too many bad offensive plays. Too many chances for LSU and good teams make you pay.

Not sure. I don't feel that confident that he's the difference maker yet.

Regardless, bad teams find ways to lose games and we found a way.
If Sellers could have sustained some drives that Ashford couldn't it's a different story. But should woulda coulda

You're right, refs were fine. One team made more plays. No one is running anywhere anymore, but thanks for the heads up

Several questionable calls. But this was Beamer’s game to lose. He was able to do just that!! That TD by LSU end of 1st half was a momentum swinger.

Beamer told the post game press conference that he coaches our players to block the QB on interceptions.

That's mind-numbingly stupid.

99% of QBs aren't chasing down a DB or even trying. You coach them to get in the QB's way- put your hands on them as a last resort-but you never have to block them.

Even cheerleader Tommy Suggs said on the radio the block was totally unnecessary.

That likely cost us the game. That's on shane.

OK difference in the game: Sellars not throwing the ball away / running we he should have. Bogus offensive pass interference penalty. Hit on their QB that negated our pick 6.

A play that should never happen- but Beamer says they coach blocking the QB. What a stupid thing to do. Just get in the Qbs way and let the defensive back run away from him.

WE deserved to lose this one.

Historically, yes. More like we had a game plan that worked a treat for about one and half quarters until they countered it, and we didn't adjust. Losing Sellers to injury was a killer, but we obviously were still able to score some points.

Ok agree that probably cost us the game but maybe I’m missing something when did it become illegal to block qb on interception? Or was it judged to be blind side block or unnecessary roughing or unsportsmanlike ? I’m just not clear on what the infraction was
