Yes, Munson was a third man for awhile - as in one year. And I think that they rotated to the radio broadcasts and back to TV when games were televised. Hamilton didn't like Munson, which turned out to be a blessing for Munson. Otherwise, he might not have become the legendary voice of the Georgia Bulldogs.

Got to see him hit a HR in the Astrodome years ago. What a player he was.

Because I lived near Atlanta, I was able to see him play a lot. My favorite trip to Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium was for a doubleheader between the Montreal Expos and the Braves. Aaron hit a home run in the first game, but he was not in the lineup for game two. But in the ninth inning, Atlanta trailed and Aaron pinch hit. He hit a game winning home run. I don't remember who won the first game, but seeing two homers in one day was a treat.

Still boggles my mind that despite all his on the field achievements, Hank Aaron only won 1 MVP Award in his baseball career? Can anyone unravel this mystery?
