Did I hear that UGA may be a tourney team?

When evaluating how long it takes to build a basketball program, I think it's fair to gauge our progress based on their's.

Fox is in his 6th season at Georgia, frank is in his 3rd at USC. Fox had losing seasons in 3 of his first 4 at UGA.

Yes. I know its probably hard for Gamecock fans to believe given how poorly the Dawgs performed in Columbia, but they had 3 players out injured including their leading scorer and rebounder. UGA tied with UK for the 2nd most wins in the SEC last year and should make the tourney this year.

It's been a long rebuilding process because Mark Fox has had the worst recruiting of any coach in the SEC, seriously. He doesn't have a single 4-star player on the entire roster. But he's a solid coach who can find ways to win with a veteran team. Now that his recruiting is finally starting to improve, UGA should remain competitive for awhile.

I didn't realize that he was in his 6th season. I guess he took over after their academic scandal.
