Did you see enough offense against Kentucky to convince you they will perform well come Saturday?

I think they are just too inconsistent. If they can luck up with a few huge plays among the mostly pedestrian plays like they did against KY and play solid defense, then we have a chance. It's just really scary when you have to rely on a few big plays or blocked punts to provide a margin of victory.

Yeah, I've felt that most people who were talking about the KY win didn't really watch our whole game. We had like 3 good offensive plays (a slight exaggeration but not much). We got the ball early from their fumble and didn't have to go far. There were a ton of lackluster offenisve plays and play calls through the game. If it hadn't been for those three scoring plays, our offense was pretty nonexistent. Hopefully, though, we can increase the number of those great offensive plays and begin scoring. I hate that our team is generally a slow starting team and we can't afford to do that in most of our games. Remember we didn't score a first quarter TD until like the 5th game of the season.

Our OC is not the answer. If we are able to move the ball and score it will be despite his play calling. There is plenty of skill on the offensive side of the ball but plays need to be called in accordance with their abilities to put them in a position to be successful. If a screen pass or a bomb doesn't do it our OC has no clue. I am not usually critical of our coaches but this fiasco has gone on long enough. Its NOT the players guys....

he is so vanilla, you can practically predict what plays he is going to call and when

I'd call the offense inconsistant. But when they sometimes play a good quarter... well that tells me they may very well be capable of having a good day. Just wish I knew when or if it will happen. I'll be watching just in case it does.

I'll tune in after Astro's baseball game. Hopefully victory for Astros and Gamecocks.

I think it confirmed my post. People bitching about us before the game is played is comical. We may Kentucky and now we beat Texas A&M. That’s what we want. I don’t bitch about it.

you beat a back up qb at Kentucky, beat a hobbled Aggie qb and beat up oline.

Would not surprise to see Vanderbilt beat you in Nashville

Lol. I think we'll be fine. For whatever reason we dont use our RBs as much as we should. Something tells me that may change. But regardless, our D is solid and everyone we play going forward has to be concerned about what we'll do on special teams. Their practices against us just got watered down.

Offensive approach and quarterback execution will have to be fixed if we are to become a legitimate factor in the SEC. If that's b!tching, then I propound it unapologetically. The plays we called at the five yard line after the blocked punt showed me all I need to see.

Losing qb's is only an excuse when we use it for our team. No one e else can.

As for the thread, it was pretty prophetic on the most part. The offense was an issue in the game again. It was inconsistent and played probably one good quarter (ish?).

As Ward said, and I agree, the offense needs fixing if the team is going to elevate to the next stage.

See that's where this team hooks me into thinking they could put together a good game. Here we have another game with a good quarter. I feel like I'm walking a tight wire and can go either way. But for now, we are ranked 25 in the AP. I'll take it
