Do stars matter when it comes to recruitment

I say most definitely. There are always diamonds in the rough, but star power always wins out.

Read an article today. 4 & 5 star recruits only make-up about 8% of all college recruiting. 52% of the super bowl players are 4 & 5 star. Cream always rises to the top.

My point we as fans, will never be ble to expect more than 7 to 8 wins unless we can sign 12 to 15 (4 star or better recruits) in the SEC.
