Morales, Walker, Wingo, JB Jr., Roth, Berry, Marzilli would have tolerated what we are seeing on the field without calling guys out? This looks like a completely different program than just 3 years ago and it is sad.
I am hoping we rebound and take the next two but if things continue this way there has to be an evaluation of the direction of what was the best program in the nation just a few short years ago. To much has been invested in facilities to see this program turn into a mediocre program.
Difference in our program from when we were elite is after MSU scored 2 runs last night did anyone think we would win? I remember just a few years ago going into the 9th innings down 1-2 runs with a belief that our team would score and win the game. Now when we get down early there is no confidence that we will fight back.
Coach Tanner built the program and what is going on now is a reflection of him because he hand picked Holbrook. He will need to decide whether or not our proudest program will settle for mediocrity.
