Does anyone remember when 107.5 said ACC > SEC before the start of the season?

They'll talk about soccer all week now that their prediction has been proven wrong.

Rivalry Saturday and the bowl season lie ahead. Moreover, just look at the SEC right now. It contains only two formidable teams, hardly comparable with the league's strength in the past.

True. Roughly 8 more games to go and anything can happen, but the ACC is currently at 1-4 against the SEC so they’ll be playing from behind. And if the ACC wants to claim ND, make it 1-5.

That last part would be bogus. I will say that the ACC has slipped this year - especially with the collapse of FSU. But the SEC is nothing like as strong from top to bottom as it was during the BCS era, actually prior to 2010. .

And the SEC isn't the monster conference it is portrayed to be. You have Bama and UGA, then I guess you can throw MSU, and Auburn, in at the pretty good level. You want to throw LSU into that group, but anybody that loses to a Troy can't be. The rest is mediocre to worse.
But surprisingly to some radio folks the ACC is worse. You have Clemson, and that is about it as far as power teams go. VT has a good record, but aren't there. NC State was exposed by USC and then proven a fraud at ND. FSU and Louisville have imploded. Same for UNC. GT and Wake are decent, but neither are going to beat anybody of relevance.
