REAL football fans (and writers) know what’s what (and who is who) ...

From today’s National ESPN on-line story:

"Clemson extended its nation's best win streak to 15 straight games. But if it was looking for style points to impress the CFP committee, this was not the way to do it.

The Tigers fumbled three times as their 18-point lead was cut to 28-25 with 12:19 left on Shon Carson's 1-yard touchdown run and Lorenzo Nunez's 2-point conversion.

This was the Tigers first win at Williams-Brice Stadium since 2007 and just the third victory in eight tries for Swinney against the Gamecocks."

Now that is 'perspective'.

And that makes Clemson's 50th win in Columbia for this 'rivalry' which is 8 more than you have all-time in the series. That's perspective...

Clemson 12-0, u 3-9
Clemson 1st in conference, u last in conference
Clemson has minimum 2 games left, u your season over
Clemson #1 in all 3 polls, u maybe top 90
Clemson won last two meetings, u lost last two meetings
Clemson won yesterday, u lost

Now that is perspective

Go back to your board blindtigger. You know you were scared yesterday when you almost lost to one of the worst SEC teams this year. Just goes to show how good the big bad ACC is. I LOL everytime I see that stupid ACC commercial where it says you better bring your A game.

Don't you have your own message board where you can chat with your tiger friends? I am sure they would enjoy debating this with you.

Think about it. You guys screwed around yesterday and let us hang around. I hate to break it to you but our worst team in 15 years was competitive with you. Obviously it irritates you now that someone outside the rivalry recognizes that you guys have underachieved when it comes to playing us under Dabo. It probably irritated you too when Alshon tea bagged your DB or when Taj Boyd fumbled away number five in a row. You are correct. That is the past. Congratulations on a win in Columbia. I am sure Dabo is very pleased to have his first win here.

Why don't you move along now and think about your next opponent while we think about who our next coach will be.

HA!!! So what? Beginning in 1896 and not until 1960!!! the game wasn't even played in clemson!!! 'cause a) your 'stadium' was so podunk, and b) cow dung and sheep droppings were EVERYWHERE, there was no paved parking and there were no sidewalks!!!

That wasn't 'perspective' THAT was REALITY!!! There was no Interstate Highway and it took two days to drive those back roads to even reach the place from east of Columbia, with ZERO hotels once people FINALLY got there.

clemson fans are accustomed to sleeping on the ground, 'Carolina fans prefer real beds and more choices regarding what to eat other than squirrel. clemson offered neither, and it hasn't really changed all that much today!!!

HA!!! 'Hicks' then - hicks now.

We had over 500 yards. And if we hadn't fumbled 300 times we would've beaten you by 40.
You're correct. You should have beat us by 40 - 50 - 60 points, but you didn't. Neither did you fumble 300 times. What you did do, is beat a 3-9 team that lost to the Citadel, and that victory was by 5 points. If you were looking for style points, you didn't get any from this game. In fact, I would suspect that the committee will now take a closer look at your entire schedule this year to re-evaluate if you are indeed, a playoff worthy team.

Not worried. Will still be #1 come Tuesday evening.

A few plays go the other way and the Gamecocks would have won that game.

Nevermind the ton of " no calls " in the 1st half. Fact

come on guys, give Clemsux a little credit, SC has been playing down to the competition for years, SC just wasnt ready to play this game and Clemsux came in with everything on the line and very hungry.... The new coach coming in, lets hope can get these Players at SC to get up for the lesser talented teams like Clemsux and Ciradel,, as well as the big games like Ga, Tenn, Ala, Fla etc etc..

Funny how loud the stadium was when y'all scored with one second left. You know it is the SC of old when they celebrate moral victories. How many games did 2010 Auburn almost lose?

And yet, you only won by 5 points. Tell the truth. You were disappointed in the score, weren't you?

To every little Tiger cultist lurking out there, enjoy your ACC successes and your two wins against us. Your success against us in any sport is about to end. In the years ahead, South Carolina will become bigger than you in every way including football. You can never be an FSU but we sure will be a contender in the SEC East every year which means thrashing you every year. Hope you keep Dabo forever.

Their OL are like marshmallows too. Our mediocre DL had their way with them most of the game.

What do you call having their way, zero sacks and 1 TFL?

It looked like their OL dominated the D-line, and their D-line dominated our O-line. The biggest weakness for Clemson is the LB'er play, and Kearse blew assignments and played horrible. They probably would have hung 50 points if their your WR's and RB's didn't hold on to the ball with one hand and fumble. Close game though.

40-6 with Cole Stoudt at QB a year ago.

And we spanked that tail and made you quit a year ago too, we fired our coach today. Has zero to do with this year, if DW wants to run like he has been, better keep the backup warmed up and ready to go.

So, you're a Georgia fan living vicariously through Oklahoma's success hoping for and injury to a 20 year old student athlete?

Without Watson Clemson loses yesterday. Taters can have a 1 man team again to our terrible gamecock team and barely win but when they play a really good team it's gonna be over. Only then will they realize the acc schedule gives them a smoke and mirrors season.

Sounds like he knows football and decided to comment on a message board giving his opinion. But yeah, vicariously, "hoping" for injury and all that jazz. Clemson couldn't beat 2 teams in the top 8

So what makes you think the future is bright for SC. Returning your kicker?

Your handle should be Clemsonboy17. How pathetically juvenile to come on the USC board and troll. Grow up and get a life. Maybe your team could have done better yestereday if they spent more time working and less time rehearsing TD bows, finger wags and other low class punk celebration stunts.

So what makes you think the future is bright for SC. Returning your kicker?

Well, to begin with in 2016 our 'fill-in' games are UMass, Western Carolina and East Carolina all at home, we get aTm, UGA, Mizzou and Tennessee all 'at home' next year and we get to play clemson on the road!!! You won at our place for the 1st time since 2007 yesterday, but we've already beaten clemson at clemson TWICE just in the last 5-years ... we've OWNED clemson 'on the road' this decade!!! We get Miss State instead of LSU, Auburn, ole' Miss or 'Bama from the West next year and our 'road' games 'sides you upstate hicks are Vandy, KY and Florida, which should be our toughest 'road game'.

2016 will be better for the Gamecocks, for clemson? ... not so much. You'll still be reeling from the late-season disappointment still to come.

And yea, our kicker IS good! Your guy missed a ton of XP's this year. Our guy was 'perfect'.
We're the Gamecocks, we don't 'cut and run' ... and we COVER!!!

See ya' on the courts, fields and trails 'tween here and next year!!!

Haha yea we'll probably drop to 5 right? 12-0. Deal with it.

Trust me - we aren't celebrating "moral victories" like the OLD Carolina teams in the past - we've progressed from that point! However, we were playing the No. 1 ranked team in the country (rival or not) with a Heisman QB candidate with our 3rd string walk-on QB and not one soul anywhere believed we could stay on the field with these Goliath's - NOBODY! It was just a matter of how many points. We had NO feathers left, and no claws - we were DEAD! The bottom line is that No. 1 giant with their best team ever against our "dead" one couldn't, not only run rampart and run the score up to enhance ALL their numbers, they had to survive by leaving their QB in the entire game and not even have a penalty called against them (and one of the VERY questionable ones - the reversed fumble - set up their game-winning td against these defeatherd weaklings who NOBODY has respectged)! This is hardly a "moral victory". I think not! I think I'm proud our guys didn't quit and realized they're as good as the next and played like it without any help except their own heart & pride!
