EDIT: Multiple WARNINGS have been issued. Several members have had posting privileges suspended.
The forum has become very polarized since the decline of the team started.
We are making every effort to eliminate content that is not within the guidelines.
Emotions are running high since the decline of the team, and rightfully so. (For ALL of us.)
All members are encouraged to feel free to post THOUGHTFUL comments and opinions whether they’re considered positive or negative.
However, divisive threads and replies, with members trolling or calling other members names and labels like “sunshine pumper” or “negative nellies”, etc, will be deleted.
Messages with profanity will be deleted. This includes abbreviations or using symbols and characters in the place of letters, to spell out profanity. (Examples: *,@,&,etc)
Thoughtless criticism, or outright “attacking” other forum members will not be tolerated.
Similarly, thoughtless criticism or “bashing” of coaches or players will not be tolerated.
This divisiveness and lack of civility has gotten out of hand at times, since the decline of the team.
Also, understand, this forum is not the place to vent anger, throw personal temper tantrums, or attack one another in an uncivil manner.
We intend to remove these types of threads and replies.
And, the posting privileges of any member who insists on posting such could be suspended.
The primary purpose of this forum is FUN and INFORMATION related primarily to Gamecock and college sports.
The goal is thoughtful comments and discussion, presented in a civil manner, regardless of whether one feels that content is positive or negative.
Also, we do have a report feature if a member sees a thread they feel needs consideration.
Hopefully, there are better days ahead for The South Carolina Gamecocks.
