Let's see. The last thirty years South Carolina has attracted Boeing, BMW, Volvo, Michelin, Mercedes, all world class companies. Developed Charleston into the jewel of the South. The Grand Strand one of the fastest growing destinations in the US. Upstate area becoming a high tech manufacturing area.

What's wrong is some segments of our population has bought into the indoctrination of the left. "Oh no! A single woman can raise kids without a father being involved." This is why gangs are growing in our state. If you don't have a strong male role model in the family to teach young men as they grow older chances are that they are going to go astray. They are not going to know the importance of being a honorable man. Also the girls being told you can have three or four children out of wedlock and the government will take care of them.
The left wants these uneducated needy people to grow because it's a guaranteed vote for them. And the left will give them just enough to string them along to expand their voting base.

I didn’t mention it because that isn’t true, or is not practiced. Yesterday, one of the election supervisors from another county in Florida was on tv talking about still getting absentee ballots in from overseas and he said he expected to get them for another week-and they counted.

So there are exceptions.

You forgot to mention that the State of Florida has a law stating you have to have all absentee ballots and counted by 30 minutes before the polls open on election day.

Any absentee ballots come in late after the due date does not count. Period. The Panhandle had no problems getting all their ballots in after the Hurricane... The military ballots are exempt from the 30 minute due date.

Florida had early voting 20 days out, if you can't get in done in the 20 days, plus on election day, then you forfeit your right to vote in the election...

3). The poverty level is high in South Carolina. (18%)
4) Fair or not, our educational rankings are lower than most.

What, exactly, do you want to see from SC's schools, roadways, and healthcare? Having driven over practically this entire country, I'd rank SC's roads among the best in the country. If you want to see some crap roads, travel in the Northeast.

Your anecdotal road trips are duly noted, but statistics regularly put us at the bottom on all of those metrics.
