I came into the Broncos/Chargers game needing 6 points from Melvin Gordon to have the highest score in my league for week 1. This would earn me 5 bonus points. We payoff the owner with the most total points at the end of the season, and give a small trophy to the head to head winner. So bonus points are a big plus. Gordon has 11 points at the half, so I'm golden this week.
Now for the oddity. As things turned out, I could have built a standard 9 player roster from my bench that at the half is 18 points ahead of my starters total.
